The build
The practice took a shell suite and needed the technology plan settled before the framers arrived. We worked from the equipment list: two CBCT units, six surgical operatories, a sterilisation corridor and a front desk that had to handle referral traffic all day.
Cabling went in at rough-in, with two runs to every chair and dedicated pathways for imaging. The imaging network sits on its own segment so a full-resolution scan does not stall the schedule on the front desk machine.
We staged the servers and workstations offsite, imaged them with the practice management software already configured, and installed the week before opening. Phones, cameras and door access were commissioned on the same visit.
